We are looking for a seasoned, results-oriented Branch Manager to lead our team and drive the success of retail banking operations at our Esperson (Downtown Houston, TX) branch. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of branch operations, including sales, customer experience, team development, and strategic execution, ensuring the achievement of financial and service objectives. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with proven success in sales growth, team development, and delivering excellent customer service in retail banking.
This position will report directly to the Area Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead overall performance and daily operations of the branch, including growth of loans, deposits, referral products, and delivery of exceptional service, while managing a diverse team of both exempt and non-exempt employees
Serve as the primary business development leader by strengthening existing client relationships, identifying new revenue opportunities, and actively engaging prospective and current clients
Provide strategic sales leadership by driving both internal and external sales efforts and fostering a high-performance, goal-oriented team culture
Direct branch operations with accountability for operational efficiency, risk management, and security, ensuring strict adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements
Originate and manage credit relationships for consumer and business clients across a broad range of loan products, including commercial, real estate, consumer, and agricultural financing
Champion community engagement by building strong local partnerships and enhancing the bank’s presence within the market
Support front-line operations as needed by handling transactions and assisting with client service and sales activities, exercising sound judgment in balancing leadership and hands-on involvement
Perform additional duties as required to support branch objectives, operational excellence, and client satisfaction
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred
Minimum of 6 years of retail banking and operations experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or management role
Established network and strong market presence within the local community preferred
Experience in sales, business banking, and/or lending preferred
Proven track record of achieving sales goals, driving revenue growth, and delivering exceptional customer service in a retail banking environment
Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills with the ability to develop, motivate, and lead diverse teams to achieve performance objectives
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, employees, and community partners
Sound judgment and decision-making abilities, with a strong commitment to ethics, integrity, and regulatory compliance
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and effectively manage multiple priorities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with banking systems and technology platforms
Must maintain Federal Registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) in compliance with the SAFE Act
Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Saturday, 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM
This is a full-time role (40 hours per week). A flexible schedule within the hours listed is required, including availability of working Saturdays as needed.
