We are seeking a Digital Product Data Manager to serve as a Marketing Data Product Owner for our Cross Affiliate Marketing team. This role is accountable for the strategy, build, and evolution of our Marketing Data Ecosystem, enabling data-driven decision-making, personalization, measurement, and growth across the enterprise.

This is not a passive data role. The ideal candidate lives and breathes data, how it flows, how it’s modeled, and how it’s activated. You must love rolling up your sleeves with engineers, architects, and analysts, and equally comfortable leading with informed recommendations in front of senior business stakeholders.

This role comes with high visibility and exposure across our Enterprise footprint, partnering closely with Marketing, Digital, Technology, Analytics, and Data Governance teams.

Essential Functions

  • Act as the Product Owner for Marketing Data, accountable for the vision, roadmap, and delivery of our Marketing Data Ecosystem and capabilities

  • Define and evolve data products that support marketing use cases such as customer insights, segmentation, personalization, attribution, campaign measurement, and experimentation

  • Proactively lead with recommendations, insights, and options—helping stakeholders understand trade-offs and value

  • Partner with Marketing, Digital, Analytics, Privacy, and Governance teams to align priorities and ensure compliance and communicate complex data concepts in clear, compelling ways to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Translate marketing and business needs into clear, actionable data requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

  • Partner closely with data engineers, platform teams, and architects to design, build, and optimize scalable, high-quality data pipelines and data models

  • Ensure data is trusted, discoverable, governed, and usable across platforms (e.g., CDP, analytics tools, activation platforms, BI)

  • Champion data quality, metadata, lineage, and observability as core product features—not afterthoughts.

  • Identify opportunities to unlock new value from data across the marketing lifecycle

  • Measure and communicate the business impact of marketing data products, and help shape enterprise data standards and best practices

Qualifications:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of digital services, product management strategies and techniques, product profitability, user experience, marketing goals or other directly related experience.

  • Management experience required. Motivational, budgeting and project management experience are preferred.

  • Proven experience as a Data Product Manager / Product Owner, Digital Product Manager, or similar role owning data-centric products

  • Excellent management, leadership, coaching and mentoring skills. Ability to work with various levels within the organization.

  • Strong background in marketing data, digital analytics, customer data, or related domains

  • Hands-on experience working with data engineers, data platforms, and modern data stacks

  • Solid understanding of data concepts such as data modeling, pipelines, APIs, identity, and activation
